We would like to give a big hearty welcome to our newest hire, Palak V. Patel. In her short time here at Jayaram Law, Palak has worked on behalf of various clients in the areas of commercial and IP litigation, technology and internet law, music and entertainment law, and employment & labor law. In her very first trip to Court as a licensed attorney, Palak succeeded in resisting a motion to discover the identity of a client’s former employee who had left disparaging remarks about the company on a popular company review website. We were impressed!
Palak is a member of the Illinois Bar, American Bar Association, and Women’s Bar Association of Illinois. Prior to joining Jayaram Law, Palak was an extern to the Honorable Judge Mary M. Rowland of the Northern District of Illinois. She’s also been an integral member of our team that provides critical pro bono support to the Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago.
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Palak earned her JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law where she served as the Treasurer of the Hispanic Latino Law Student Association and as a member of the Women in Law Association. Palak is a proud alumna of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she received her B.A. in Economics and Political Science. Palak is an avid traveler, creator of DIY stuff, and enthusiastic Chicago Bears fan.
