Palak V. Patel

Palak is an associate at Jayaram Law who handles intellectual property litigation. 

Palak works to protect and enforce the intellectual property rights of creatives, brands, and entrepreneurs. She regularly litigates copyright, trademark, trade secret and unfair competition disputes. Palak advises clients with an analytical, inventive mindset, aiming to bring about the best possible solution.

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Palak earned her JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law and is a proud alumna of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she received her B.A. in Economics and Political Science. Prior to joining Jayaram Law, Palak worked as a law clerk at a prominent Chicago litigation firm. She also worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Mary M. Rowland of the Northern District of Illinois and a legal extern for the Department of Homeland Security.

In her spare time Palak is an avid traveler and enjoys hiking, DIY projects, and rooting for the Chicago Bears.
